I bought this knowing it was a duplicate of the manual in the boxed set (with the dice) and the "A Rare Geometry" adventure module. Why would anyone do such a thing? I like the fact that this book (again, duplicated in the boxed set) is saddle-stapled. Given the useful charts and sheets, it is kind of nice to able to lay those pages flat (or to pull them apart after removing the staples) to have a high quality print of it to set dice on, to keep track of things, etc. Can you live without purchasing this? Absolutely. However, if you are not getting the boxed set (which is foolish, you should--and get the frost turret die too) or the "A Rare Geometry" module, having this Zine and different, colored d6 dice would allow you to deploy this cool AI turret. Still, I knew what I was doing getting this duplicate, and I'm glad I did!
